Critics circles, film festivals and audiences have been split in the major categories, with 12 Years A Slave, American Hustle, Inside Llewyn Davis, Her and Nebraska receiving equal amounts of praise and accolades. I’m basing my picks on what I’ve seen, read and a general bias towards what I like… Who are your picks?

General observation: I can’t figure out why Big Bang Theory continues to be nominated, when there are so many better and actually hilarious comedies on tv! Also, I may watch way too many movies and tv shows.
