The 2014 Golden Globe Nominees have been announced! It was a great year for film, and it shows in the diverse and extremely talented group of nominees. Critics circles, film festivals and audiences have been split in the major categories, with 12 Years A Slave, American Hustle, Inside Llewyn Davis, Her and Nebraska receiving equal amounts of praise and accolades. It’s going to be a great awards season. Can’t wait for the gowns, the gents and the globes – especially with the added bonus of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosting!

I’m basing my picks on what I’ve seen, read and a general bias towards what I like… Who are your picks?

General observation: I can’t figure out why Big Bang Theory continues to be nominated, when there are so many better and actually hilarious comedies on tv! Also, I may watch way too many movies and tv shows.
